Safeguarding Policy

Welfare first. Always.

The principles, procedures and protections that govern our work with every minor on our books.

Child Protection Principles

Every minor is protected against any form of physical, emotional, or sexual harm. All representatives in contact with minors operate under documented codes of conduct, background checks, and supervised meeting protocols.

Ethical Recruitment

We do not approach minors without first contacting parents or legal guardians and the player's current club. We never solicit minors through informal networks, social media DMs, or unaccredited scouts.

Educational Support

School attendance and academic progression are mandatory until 18. We work with families to coordinate trial schedules around exams and may decline opportunities that compromise schooling.

Anti-Exploitation Standards

Zero tolerance for trafficking, document fraud, financial coercion, or false promises. Any individual found in breach of these standards is reported to FIFA, the GFA and law enforcement.

Welfare-First Representation

Mental health, family contact, nutrition, and cultural identity are checked at quarterly welfare reviews. Players and families may request a review at any time.

Reporting & Whistleblowing

A confidential safeguarding line is available to any player, family member, club official, or staff member to report concerns. All reports are reviewed by an independent designated safeguarding officer.

Our Commitment

A signed promise to every family.

Omega Sports Management adheres to FIFA's Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, the FIFA Football Agent Regulations, and the safeguarding frameworks established by the Ghana Football Association. We hold ourselves to the same child-protection standards practised by leading European football academies.

No minor is signed without verified parental or guardian consent. No trial is arranged that conflicts with documented school commitments. No representation agreement is entered into without independent legal review where requested by the family. Our agents are trained annually in child safeguarding, refresh background checks every 24 months, and operate under a documented code of conduct.

Should any player, parent, club or partner ever feel a safeguarding concern has not been adequately addressed, the matter is escalated to an independent Designated Safeguarding Officer outside the operational chain — and ultimately to the Ghana Football Association and FIFA where appropriate.

Report a concern — in confidence.

If you have a safeguarding concern regarding a player we represent or any person operating in our name, please contact us directly.
